Join Alex Shevrin Venet, Arlène Casimir, Addison Duane, and Rhiannon Kim for a conversation on self & community care, grounded in Laura van Dernoot Lipsky's framework of Trauma Stewardship.
Our conversation will focus on wellness, self-care, and community care as we navigate the school year. Participants will engage in small groups facilitated by Alex, Arlène, Addison and Rhiannon. All four of us are trauma-informed educators and will help guide meaningful conversation. We hope you'll leave the discussion feeling supported, empowered to use the tools of trauma stewardship, and motivated to commit to self and community care this year.
While we encourage folks to read Lipsky's book Trauma Stewardship, you don't need to have read the book to participate. You also don't need to have attended our first version of this event from October. All are welcome!
Logistical details:
- This is a one-time event on Sunday, November 8 from 2pm to 3:30pm Eastern time
- You will get the Zoom link in a Ticketleap email a few hours before the event
